IMOCA 60 – NY – Barcelona, Hugo Boss wins the Imo...

Hugo Boss co-skippers Pepe Ribes (Esp) and Ryan Breymaier (USA) are the winners of the IMOCA Ocean Masters New York to Barcelona race. They crossed the finish line at 20.54 h and 30 s local time in Barcelona. They now will make their way to the arrivals pontoon for the welcome ashore and press conference.

The fourth and final day of the inaugural Menorca Maxi saw the nine Wallys and three Js race under tough and tricky conditions. The early morning rain failed to dampen the spirits of organisers, who were eager to close a spectacular week of racing on a high note.

Today the IMOCA Ocean Masters New York to Barcelona race set sail at 1210 local time. On the start line directly off North Cove Marina in the shadow of the One World Trade Centre, newly built on the site of Ground Zero, it was GAES Centros Auditivos and Team Neutrogena that got the best start in the light conditions
