Rules of use

For everyone’s benefit, we request that you follow the rules for using the facilities and any instructions given by our staff.

Alcaidesa Marina, in line with its commitment to protecting the environment and the health and safety of its employees and users, has prepared an Environmental Code of Conduct based on the guidelines provided by the Blue Flag campaign. The full text of the Code of Conduct is available in our offices.

These are some of the most important aspects that should be taken into account:

•Keep the sea, the coast and the marina clean, do not litter.

•Find out about the location and characteristics of areas that are environmentally sensitive or of scientific importance, and the nature reserves and protected ecosystems, in order to avoid causing accidental damage.

•Actively defend the conservation of marine life. Respect protected areas, marine animals, birds and other protected species.

•Contribute to environmentally responsible resource management by promoting the saving of water and energy, sorting rubbish for collection and encouraging the use of products that respect the environment.

•Use the designated areas for waste collection and the recycling centre for used oils.

•Whenever possible, use products that are environmentally friendly.

•Do not buy or use products manufactured from protected species (coral, shells, etc.) and underwater archaeological sites, unless their origin and legality is demonstrated.
