In 2025, Alcaidesa Marina proudly celebrates its fifteenth consecutive Blue Flag award, a milestone that reinforces its role as a leading environmentally responsible marina within the recreational nautical sector.

Since first becoming eligible in 2011 , following its inauguration in August 2010, Alcaidesa Marina has been recognized every single year by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), through its Spanish branch ADEAC, for meeting the highest standards in water quality, safety, environmental management and public education.

The Blue Flag is far more than a symbol; it represents a year-round commitment to sustainability, environmental stewardship, and excellence in marina operations. To receive this international recognition for 15 years running is a testament to the long-term vision and day-to-day dedication of the entire team.

Alcaidesa Marina undergoes thorough inspections and independent audits each year, ensuring strict compliance with a demanding set of criteria that cover essential areas such as waste management, environmental education initiatives, accessibility and the preservation of marine biodiversity.

Over the past decade and a half, the marina has continuously invested in eco-efficient infrastructure, user safety, clean technologies and educational programs aimed at promoting sustainable nautical practices among boaters and visitors.

By renewing the Blue Flag in 2025, Alcaidesa Marina reaffirms its commitment to offering a safe, sustainable and high-quality environment for all users, while contributing actively to the protection of our coastal ecosystems and promoting responsible boating along the Andalusian coast.

As we raise our fifteenth Blue Flag, we not only celebrate the achievements of the past — we also look ahead with renewed determination to continue leading by example in the years to come.
