The end of an 8 year dream & a lifelong ambition

The arrival of the HESKAPA in Antigua on the 2nd December 2013 completed Richard Mayson White’s 8 year dream & lifelong ambition of single handedly crossing the Atlantic along the Tropic of Cancer. Charity Market great success

The charity market held last Saturday with a view to raising funds for Hogar Betania (charity for the homeless) proved to be a great success. The event, held at the Flexo in Campamento, managed to raise funds & donations of food & clothing which will ensure that Hogar Bretania may continue to help those less fortunate that find themselves without a home in these difficult times. Dolphin trip from Alcaidesa Marina

Last Thursday the 7th of November a excursion to visit the dolphins was organized by Alcaidesa Marina within the Bay of Gibraltar. Spanish Matriculation Tax removed for chartered boats

As a result of the publication of the BOE-A.3013-11331 the Spanish Matriculation Tax on chartered boats has finally been removed. It is hope that this measure will help to attract the return of the charter companies to Spanish waters & provide additional activities for the experienced & novice seafarers alike.
