The
final regatta of the III Interclub Championship of the Straits 2.013,
held last weekend & organized by our neighbors  the Club Marítimo
Linense proved to be a huge success with the participation  44 vessels.
The overall winners of each class were:-
 
– Class RI2-RI3,  Luna VI, skippered by Antonio Infante (RCN Algeciras)
– Class RI4 Hell Fisch, skippered by Alberto Fernández (CN Saladillo),
– Class RI3 Kouko, skippered by Pedro Butron (CM Linense
 
Amounst
those present at the award ceremony were representatives of the
participating Nautical Clubs; CAS Ceuta – D. Agapito Calvo; l Club
Vendaval de Ceuta -D. Ignacio Tendero; l RCN Estepona – D. José María
Ayala; RCM Sotogrande – Dña. María Cervera, l CN Saladillo – D.
José María Castellano, RCN Algeciras – D. Joseba Eguidazu, RCN La Línea –
D. Agustín Villar, Alcaidesa Marina – Dña. Ana L.
Morales and  D. Pedro Butrón on behave of the hosts Club Maritimo
Linense, as well as  D. Rafael Olivares from the Port Authority of
Algeciras who presented the awards to the winners.
 
All the participants enjoyed a a fine lunch at the Club Maritimo Linense. Next years championship will commence in January 2014.
