Digital transformation has arrived at the dockside in Alcaidesa Marina.

Pantoon 12 in our marina has been fitted with a new generation of smart Tally pedestals, marking a significant milestone in service management and user experience.

These new pedestals replace the conventional models installed in 2010 and introduce cutting-edge features such as remote activation via smartphone, real-time consumption tracking, automated alerts, and full digital traceability. Users can activate their water or electricity outlets directly from their mobile devices, check their balance, and disconnect the service themselves — all within seconds.

Moreover, customer wait times are significantly reduced, and the system eliminates the need for marina staff to physically travel to each pedestal, which was previously necessary for both initial and final meter readings or to address any issues. This transition substantially lowers the carbon footprint by reducing the number of daily vehicle movements within the marina facilities.

From the marina administration’s perspective, the Tallyweb system enables remote supervision of each pedestal’s status, incident detection, detailed usage reports, and proactive maintenance planning. The result: greater control, fewer disruptions, and a modern, sustainable service offering for our clients.

ALCAIDESA SERVICIOS SA has received funding under the DIGITUR 2024 programme for the digital transformation of tourism SMEs in Andalusia, as part of the FEDER Andalusia 2021–2027 Programme (Specific Objective 1.2), for the installation and commissioning of Tally equipment.

Through this initiative, Alcaidesa Marina reinforces its commitment to sustainability, operational excellence, and continuous service improvement, positioning itself as a benchmark smart marina on the Andalusian Mediterranean coast and within the wider southern European nautical sector.
