LA LÍNEA DE LA CONCEPCIÓN
La Linea is washed by the waters of both the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.
Located in southern Andalucia, in the Campo de Gibraltar (Cadiz Province), La Linea is washed by the waters of both the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. At the foot of the Sierra Carbonera, and close to the Rock of Gibraltar, its endless fine sandy beaches, gastronomy, intriguing streets to explore and enchanting fiestas offer visitors a truly warm welcome.
WHAT TO DO?
One of the things that La Linea is most proud of is its fourteen kilometres of fine sandy beaches. The mild winter climate and 3,000 hours of sunshine annually enable you to stroll along its beaches throughout the year.

WHAT TO EAT?
The cuisine is strongly influenced by the fact that this is a town lapped by the sea. Its fish and seafood dishes are deservedly famous and visitors who wish to try them should stroll through the La Atunara district where they will find sardines cooked on skewers, seafood and fish stews and casseroles, grilled octopus and the well-known La Atunara clams. All these dishes are served with fresh vegetables from the Zabal market gardens.
If you want to try some tapas, a walk through the city centre presents you with the opportunity to taste a wide variety of delicious tapas and canapés, with flavours to satisfy even the most discerning palate.
And for dessert, try the delicious local cakes especially the “japonesas”, puff pastries, and “piononos”.
WHERE DO YOU EAT?
En verano puedes disfrutar de varios chiringuitos en la playa pero si visitas la Casa Club de Alcaidesa Liks Golf Resort seguro que no te decepcionara su cocina.
