The Nao Victoria is a replica of the legendary tall ship that between 1519 and 1522 pulled off the greatest maritime feat in history: the first ever circumnavigation of the globe.

As part of the commemorations to mark the five hundredth anniversary in 2019 of the first round-the-world voyage, the Nao Victoria is currently touring Spain to educate people about her history and her links to the different regions of the country.

The ship will be arriving at Alcaidesa Marina this Wednesday (5th December) at twelve noon and her decks will then be open to school visits and the general public until Sunday 9th December.

Anyone can visit the ship, with the following symbolic prices being charged for entrance:

  • Children under five: free of charge. Must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Children between five and ten: €2 per child.
  • Adults: €4.
  • Families: €10. Family package for two adults and up to three children between five and ten. The fourth child pays the normal price (€2).

Now you have a great reason to visit Alcaidesa Marina over the next few days and explore the replica of this 16th-century carrack.

The official press conference will be the 5th December at 12:00h.
