The moving event took place last Friday, July 31st, at 12:00 PM at the port facilities, right next to the iconic Control Tower. The ceremony was led by the port director, Antonio Valbuena, who raised the flag in the presence of local authorities, nautical sector professionals, marina users, and representatives from partner institutions.
International Recognition of Responsible and Quality Management
Constantly achieving and renewing the Blue Flag is not merely an award, but a reflection of the rigorous daily effort made by the entire team at Alcaidesa Marina. Granted by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) through ADEAC in Spain, this recognition independently certifies compliance with demanding criteria regarding water quality, environmental management, safety, accessibility, service provision, and ecological awareness.
For the marina facilities, renewing this certification serves as public confirmation that the port meets the highest international standards in recreational boating.
