For the seventh consecutive year, since we opened our facilities in August 2010, Alcaidesa Marina has been awarded the Blue Flag for marinas. This Wednesday 20th of June, the mayor of La Línea de la Concepción, Juan Franco, together with Juan Macias, delegate of Beaches and the director of our Marina Antonio Valbuena, will be participating in the official hoisting ceremony of the Blue Flag.

The granting of blue flags to marinas by the European Federation for Environmental Education (FEE) and the Association for Environmental and Consumer Education (ADEAC) aims to recognize their quality after a thorough analysis of the safety conditions, the environmental quality, the sustainable management, the  user services, the social integration and the informative work of each port . The environmental sustainability, which should take into account water quality, waste management prioritizing recycling, promoting sustainable transport, restricting traffic and the parking motor vehicles within the marina, except in authorized areas, energy efficiency and use of water, the use of organic products as far as possible and landscape integration, among others, are all aspects that Marina Alcaidesa is continually striving to ensure are implemented.

We are proud that one more year the Blue Flag is displayed in our marina and that the city of La Línea can be proud of the marina that it has.
