Following the agreement between Alcaidesa Marina & GTA Group work has commenced on the installation of a new “Smart Wi-Fi” installation which will provide a high speed internet service for all the marina users. The new installation consists of the latest components & technology from the leading specialist in wireless technology Ruckus. The broadband, delivered by fiber optic cable, will be able to provide speeds of up to 30 Mb.

The installation is expected to be fully operational during the second fortnight of September and will provide 20 minutes of FREE Wi-Fi per day for ALL the marina customers after which a continuation of the service may be contracted directly online. GTA will provide a maintenance service to monitor the installation & ensure a quick response to any incidents.
